RMClock is free CPU clock speed controlling and monitoring software for Windows 7 that will help will you to optimize and overclock your Intel or AMD CPU to achieve the best out of it. RMClock (RightMark CPU Clock Utility) is designed for reading real-time CPU frequency/load and provide on-the-fly adjustment option of the CPU multiplier (FID) and voltage level (VID) of the supported CPUs via processor's power management model specific registers (MSRs).
In its automatic management mode, RMClock continuously monitors the CPU usage level and dynamically adjusts the CPU frequency, throttle and/or voltage level as needed, realizing the "Performance on Demand" concept. RMClock is also great for reducing power consumption to a degree, which is lower than AMD's Cool & Quiet or Intel's SpeedStep. You will get your battery information on RMClock (general and per-battery) including real-time status display of the battery life time, charge level, charge/discharge rate. RMClock supports the Windows power management settings and LCD display brightness control.
