SkyDrive for Windows and Mac
Microsoft has released its cloud service’s desktop application, SkyDrive for Windows and SkyDrive for Mac. SkyDrive offers 7 GB of free cloud storage which allows you to sync your document, photos, videos, music files to make it available for all of your desktop PC, notebook and mobile device (Windows Phone, iOS).
SkyDrive for Windows and Mac OS are integrated in to Windows Explorer and Mac Finder to give you the best experience of file managing and sharing from your PC. As Dropbox, SkyDrive creates a special folder on your Windows and Mac OS that is always stays synchronized with your Skydrive cloud account. With SkyDrive for Windows you can easily access your SkyDrive account and organize your files by drag-and-drop, delete, copy, paste as regular files inside your SkyDrive folder. Whenever you add, change, or delete files in one location, all the other locations will be updated.

SkyDrive has also changed its storage plans, by reducing its usual 25 GB of free storage it now offers 7 GB. If you already have a SkyDrive account, you have limited amount of time to opt-in to your 25 GB free storage. Go to your SkyDrive accounts Manage Storage page and just click the "Free Upgrade!" button under "SkyDrive Free" storage plans.
