Apple Configurator is an OS X Lion application that makes it easy for school, business, large organizations and companies to deploy and batch setup new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, install business applications, and to register each device with a mobile device management solution for remote management.
The new Apple Configurator comes with iOS 6 features support that will be useful to quickly configuring large numbers of iOS devices with the settings, apps and data you specify for up to 30 iOS devices at once. It allows you to quickly update the latest version of iOS, create and restore a backup of settings, install applications and transfer data for your students, employees or employers. It allows you to prepare new IOS devices for immediate distribution, monitor devices that need to have a standard configuration, and assign any iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to users.
