The new WYSIWYG note editor now frames your content beautifully and expands as needed to fit your content. For distraction-free composition and editing, you can use the full-screen single note view by double-clicking on a note in your note list.
New Shortcuts, Notes, Notebooks and Tags:
Evernote 5 for Windows shows every stack and notebook in one place, including your own notebooks as well as any Joined or Business Notebooks. It gives you a dedicated buttons let you access and organize notes however you choose. Tags are laid out in a comprehensive list so you can see them all on one screen. Filter by tags allows you to click on the tag at the top of the note list to filter your current note list by tags. Use the tags filter to find exactly what you’re looking for, even within a notebook. Now you can dag your favorite notes, notebooks, tags, and searches into the Shortcuts area for quick access. Expand your tags to quickly use them as drop targets or move them to Shortcuts.
Evernote 5’s Smarter Search:
With TypeAhead suggestions, Evernote’s Search is more powerful than ever for Windows user. It gives suggestions based upon the words and phrases frequently used in your Evernote account. Search results now show notes both from all personal, Joined and Business Notebooks at the same time. You can drag Saved Searches from the search menu into your Shortcuts for easier access. Click into the search field to see recent and Saved Searches. You can also specify the scope of your search by clicking the magnifying glass.
Evernote 5 Better Note List & Card View:
Your Notes List now displays one list of all notes from your personal, joined, and Business Notebooks. The menus on the top of the Note List make it easy to sort notes, change your note layout, or filter notes using notebook or tag selectors. Browse notes with the new Card view, which displays your notes as a list of informative, easy to scan, and visually appealing Cards.
Evernote 5 for Windows Atlas:
Atlas is a brand new way to visually explore your notes in Evernote for Windows. Evernote helps you remember where you were when you took notes to help you have richer, more vibrant memories. Evernote Atlas reads the location where your notes were created and intelligently presents them to you on Place Cards based upon their proximity to each other. Click on any card to see flags with numbers representing all the notes in that location. Pan and zoom to see more or fewer notes then click on a flag to see the associated notes. To see notes created near your current location, click the compass icon.
