Shutdown Automaton is a handy power management utility that enables you to schedule a auto shutdown, hibernation, restart, log off or sleep & remotely control power actions of your Windows computer. The auto shutdown and other power tasks can be scheduled at a specific date and time, using a countdown timer or after a period of user or computer inactivity (when computer is idle). You can access Shutdown Automaton basic actions through web browser to shutdown, hibernation, restart, log off or sleep remotely from your laptop or mobile phone.
How to Remotely Shutdown, Sleep, Log Off
To control your computer power remotely simply run Shutdown Automaton tool and go to its Remote settings, set a password for security protection and enable the web access. Shutdown Automaton will show your computers local network IP address (LAN IP) along with the default port number. You need this address to get access from your remote computer, laptop or smart phone. On your remote device open the web browser and put the Shutdown Automaton address and get authorized with user name and password. It will show a web interface with power management options including remote shutdown, restart, log off sleep, lock, hibernation and other remote options. You and also set a application in “Start an app” option and remotely execute that program.
Shutdown Automaton tool can monitor your system load and user activity and take preset power management actions for your computer. Shutdown Automaton also extends its automation ability with Enhance Shutdown option that allows you to run CCleaner to clean up junk file, empty recycle bin or delete a folder content before it perform a system shutdown.
