DC++ is a full-featured and easy-to-use Direct Connect client that allows peer-to-peer file-sharing. Direct Connect is a protocol that allows you to share files over the Internet without restrictions or limits. DC++ allows you to share files of all sizes via the user-friendly user interface. DC++ is a sharing tool that allows you to keep a list of all your favorite hubs / users and join multiple hubs at the same time. It is fully compatible with and supports connection to hubs using the earlier NeoModus Direct Connect (NMDC) protocol, but its primary purpose is to be a client for a new generation of file sharing using a protocol called Advanced Direct Connect (ADC). Firewall and router support is integrated and it is easy and convenient to use functionality like multi-hub connections, auto-connections and resuming of downloads.
