Control Multiple Mac Computers using Single Mouse and Keyboard
Teleport is a handy network based mouse and keyboard sharing utility that allows you to control multiple Mac computers using single mouse and keyboard. Teleport is designed to give seamless mouse and keyboard sharing experience, you just need to simply reach the edge of your screen, and your mouse teleports to your other Mac, which also becomes controlled by your keyboard.
Using Teleport the pasteboard (clipboard) can even be synchronized between the computers. Teleport uses Rendezvous to find available hosts. For controlling them, it catches the events of the master computer, sends me on the network using UDP, and uses some native CoreGraphics calls on the slave computer. For pasteboard synching, teleport uses TCP for reliable transfers. Teleport uses Bonjour to find available hosts. For controlling them, it catches the events of the master computer, sends me on the network using TCP, and uses some native CoreGraphics calls on the slave computer.
Warning: teleport does NOT encrypt data transfers. Therefore, be sure to have a safe network before sending sensitive keystrokes, such as passwords, on a slave computer.
