MeinPlatz (My-Place) is a free utility that offers an easy and fast way to scan the hard disk for lost disk space. MeinPlatz is designed to help you find and remove files that are not necessary for you and those are taking your large portion of your hard disk space. It enables you easily discover the space hogs on your computer so you can remove them and gain free space. It indexes the folder content very fast and provide handy information about number of file and sub directory it contain, individual files size, compare disk space taken and shows it in visual file size percentage indicator, file extension, date (created, modified, last accessed) and may more.
MeinPlatz shows all of your computer drives in left side in tree view mode and shows a list of files and directories in right side of the directory that is currently selected. To get started, choose a drive or directory to start scanning, after scanning you can scan individual subfolders, easily with the right mouse button.

MeinPlatz will help you to remove useless files those are missed by disk cleaner software. You will able narrow down all the space hogging large useless files using its file grouping and filtering options. You can view and group all files and folders by their path, size, date modified, file extension and by file the you do not use often. It offers option to filter the file list by including and excluding file extension.
Press and hold down Ctrl or Shift key if you want scan the drive or directory in new window. The results can be exported to XLS, HTM, CSV and TXT. MeinPlatz "My-Place" also has a print function with integrated print preview and variable aspect ratio, and also a small screen magnifier.
