iPad mini 3 vs iPad mini 2
Apple has announced its latest iPad mini 3 update with additional Touch ID support. Apart from the fingerprint identity sensor into the Home button, the hardware of iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2 are the same. iPad mini 3 has the same A7 chip with 64‑bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor and 7.9 inch display with 2048x1536 resolution at 326 ppi which is the exactly the same as its predecessor.
iPad mini 3 comes with 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage capacity (prizing) and has a gold version like iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. Apple will continue to sell the iPad mini 2 with only 16GB and 32GB storage. There are no difference between iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2 accept the Touch ID, which will allows user to log in to iPad and in iOS 8 apps with a quick finger print authentication. Unlike the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 dose not have NFC chip, so it only allows user to use the Touch ID for online purchase through apps.
