Microsoft has announced its upcoming operating system, Windows 10 (yes, with a version number skip) and previewed its ubiquitous Windows 10 concept and its newly added features. Windows 10 will be released in late 2015, and a early technical preview version of Windows 10 will be available for download from preview.windows.com. By overhauling it’s most criticized feature on Windows 8, Microsoft is removing the Start Screen from desktop experience and bringing back the old style Star Menu on Windows 10 desktop.

Windows 10 Star Menu
The new Windows 10 Star Menu is more like a mashup of Windows 8 Start Screen with old style Star Menu. The Windows 10 Star Menu will popup when user click on the Windows button on the left corner of the screen. User will get all the Windows Metro Style on the Start Menu as live tile and also have desktop applications list with option to search the PC. Start Menu can be personalize the live tiles with your favorite apps, people and websites.

Flexible Windows Store App
All of the Windows 8 Metro app runs on full screen, which is inconvenient for desktop user with only mouse and keyboard input. Windows 8 app interface was optimized for only tablet typed device. Now on Windows 10, Microsoft is improving how Store App (Metro App) work all king of PCs, including one with or with out touch and for Big giant screens. Thus, Apps from Windows Store now open in the same format other conventional desktop program do. User will be able to resize Windows Store Apps and move the around. And each Windows Store Apps on Windows 10 will have title bar on the top so you can maximize, minimize and close them with a click.

Multitasking and Multiple Desktop
For user how have to work on lot of different projects, use different applications and files, Windows 10 provides multiple desktop solution for them. By simply organizing their work in multiple desktops, user can do on their tasks more efficiently in a non cluttered environment. On Windows 10, when you snap a window on a side of the screen, Windows will make smart suggestion on filling the available screen space with other open apps.
